This was a 2-hour private art house film commissioned through Kara Boska ltd. It was filmed over three days at a Manor in the Scottish countryside and gave us five hours of footage to work with.
I took on the role as assistant camera man and edited the entire film together.
Premise:
Set in the 60s at a Scottish boarding in the countryside, the film follows Miss Mallory as she takes on her new job as headteacher at a private boarding school for girls. Having gone to boarding school as a child herself, Miss Mallory feels strongly about giving girls a good education and the film explores women’s rights, education and equality.
